Briefs include mischief and vehicle entry in Tillsonburg, a 22 year old charged with racing, possession and driving under suspension in SWOX on Canada Day and a Chevy Silverado stolen from a business on Ostrander Road.
TILLSONBURG - A 31 year old was from Tillsonburg has been charged with mischief after a patio door was destroyed on Lisgar Avenue.
Police were called to the home this morning at 2:45 in regards to a disturbance. Police were given a description of the suspect who smashed the door and located them nearby.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.

SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A 22 year old is going to have some pretty high insurance rates after getting stopped by Police in South-West Oxford on Canada Day.
Police say they caught the driver racing on the 401 on Wednesday night. The driver was also charged with the following:
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance
- Driving Motor Vehicle With Liquor Readily Available
- Race a Motor Vehicle
- Driving While Under Suspension
- Novice Driver - B.A.C. Above Zero
- Class G1 Licence Holder-Unaccompanied by Qualified Driver
- Drive With Improper Headlights
The driver will incur a vehicle impoundment for seven days as well as an automatic licence suspension for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.

SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A grey 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen from a business in South-West Oxford.
Police say someone entered the yard of the business on Ostrander Road sometime between Sunday and Tuesday.

TILLSONBURG - Oxford OPP are investigating a report of mischief on Avon Drive in Tillsonburg.
Police say that just before noon, someone broke into a GMC Sierra pickup truck that was parked at the home. The ignition was badly damaged and a pair of prescription sunglasses and a baseball hat were stolen from the truck.
Video surveillance footage was obtained and police are continuing to investigate.
