A long Oxford County Council meeting has good news. During the meeting today, council approved the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council held their first of two meetings.
During today's meeting, the agenda was packed with many different items. Warden of Oxford County Council, Marcus Ryan says the meeting went until 2:30 p.m.
"The really big item that I would suggest should be of interest to residents is the Strategic Plan. Oxford County, today officially adopted their Strategic Plan."
Ryan adds he is happy with how the plan looks.
"It is the result of consultation with residents, businesses, and obviously members of Council. I think it sets a really bold, progressive agenda of advancing issues that residents told us mattered to them."
Ryan mentions the planning that went into getting the Plan in place was extensive.
