It's for initiatives that support the Safe and Well Oxford Plan and the Oxford County Strategic Plan.
OXFORD COUNTY - Applications are now open for the Oxford County Grants Program.
The funding is for activities that address a community-identified need and applications will be accepted until August 30th. Local non-profit organizations, area municipal economic development offices as well as other community organizations are able to apply for the grant.
Applications will be evaluated by the Grant Approval Committee using the Grant Application Assessment tool. They are looking for initiatives that support the Safe and Well Oxford Plan and the Oxford County Strategic Plan.
Multiple factors will be considered including:
- Ability to execute the proposal.
- Benefit, need and impact for the community
- Detailed budgeting and access to other funding sources if needed
- Project readiness
- Financial need
The recipients will be announced in January of 2026 and more information as well as applications can be found online here.
