The 14 finalists have been selected for this year's Oxford County Agricultural Awards of Excellence. The 12th annual Ag Awards that are set for April 4th at the Oxford Auditorium in Woodstock. The finalists are: Field Gate Organics Inc. and Great Lakes New Holland Inc. (Agribusiness Large) D&R Farm Automation Inc. and William Ruck Trucking Ltd. (Agribusiness Small) Lloyd Alyea & Sons Ltd. and James, Katherine and David Grieve (Family Farm) Canadian Biofuel Inc. and MacDonald Mobile Veterinary Service (Farm Innovation) Gunn?s Hill Artisan Cheese and Stonecroft Farms (Niche Market) Salford Farm Machinery Ltd. and Syngenta Canada Inc. (President?s Technology) Gayle Topham and Shawn Wilson (Youth in Agriculture) The evening also includes a guest speaker, social hour and dinner.
