The Woodstock Police Service was able to fill 6 SUV cruisers and raise over $3,700 worth of donations during this year's Fill-A-Cruiser Holiday Food Drive.
WOODSTOCK - Six SUV cruisers were filled in the Woodstock Police Service (WPS) Fill-A-Cruiser Holiday Food Drive event.
The event took place at Sobeys last weekend, with over $3,700 of food and financial donations collected,
Deputy Chief Nick Novacich along with WPS Auxiliary members filled the cruisers with 321 pre-made bags worth $10 each and a variety of other non-perishable food items. An additional $500 worth of cash was collected by the Salvation Army Kettle Campaign.
The Woodstock Police Service would like to thank everyone for their generous contributions to the Salvation Army.
