The LDCSB has decided to temporarily close St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School in Woodstock following three likely and/or confirmed cases of COVID-19.
WOODSTOCK - An outbreak has been declared at St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School in Woodstock.
The London District Catholic School Board is reporting three likely and/or confirmed cases of COVID-19 affecting staff in multiple classrooms.
The board has decided to temporarily close the school until at least March 24th effective immediately and it's hoping to resume in-person classes on March 25th. Students will participate in remote learning for the time being.
This decision was made in order to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and staff and the board is working closely with Southwestern Public Health at this time.
