Ingersoll Resident Charged with Trespassing for his One Man Protest
Ingersoll's Mike Farlow was called off a lake by the OPP last night.
Farlow was charged with Trespassing by taking his boat out onto the lake that is on Carmeuse property in Beachville.
The charge comes with a $65 fine.
Farlow willingly came off the lake at around 8PM when emergency crews, including Ingersoll Fire showed up.
Farlow ventured out onto the lake on Thursday night, and went undetected until Heart FM reported on his political protest Friday afternoon.
Walker Environmental, who are proposing to open and operate a landfill nearby, have reportedly stated in previous Community Liaison meetings that there were no fish in the lake.
Farlow says there was plenty of fish and wildlife, and believes the lake needs to be studied as part of Walker's landfill proposal.
