Briefs include a 14 year old driver involved in a crash and a stolen truck from Courtland.
COURTLAND - Norfolk OPP are investigating after a truck was stolen from a home in Courtland.
Police say the pickup was taken early Monday evening at a home on Adams Street. The truck is described as a 2004 beige coloured Chevrolet Silverado.
The truck also had a number of tools in the cab including impact drills, skill saws, framing gun, saws batteries, work lights, air compressors, levels, chalk lines, caulking guns, stud finder, hard hat, tape measures, safety boots, hammers, utility knives, air hoses and extension cords valued at about $3,500.
All of the stolen property does have the owners initials "JN" engraved into them. Anyone that may come into contact with any of the listed items is being asked to a contact police.
BAYHAM - Norfolk OPP were called out to a single vehicle crash where the driver was only 14 years old.
Police say the crash happened on Monday night on Windham Road 9. A father was teaching his 14 year old daughter how to drive at the time. She was turning northbound onto Bakers Lane when she lost control of the vehicles and hit a stop sign. The crash caused a lot of front end damage to the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
