Operation Sharing's Christmas event continues to put smiles on people's faces.
OXFORD COUNTY - Operation Sharing's Christmas day event continues to grow. This year it's estimated that over 350 people were in attendance for the annual event that started 11 years ago. The event provides those who spend Christmas alone or who are without family with a place to come together and celebrate Christmas. This year participants were treated to a buffett-style dinner, the Holy Trinity Church choir and other activities such as board games.
Director of Operation Sharing, Steve Guiliano said the reaction to the event has been positive, one person is quoted as saying it's the best Christmas they've had since 2007.
