Legislature prepares for summer sitting.
Ontario's lieutenant governor will deliver a throne speech on August 9th, kicking off a rare summer session.
The announcement was made by the Premier's office this afternoon.
The speech will take place one day after the legislature convenes.
Legislators will vote on the provincial budget that was introduced but not passed before the election on June 2nd.
Ford has said there will be small changes to the budget, including an increase to Ontario Disability Support Payment funding.
