Emergency crews were called out to a house fire on John Pound Road early Saturday morning.
TILLSONBURG - The cause of a fatal house fire in Tillsonburg has been deemed not suspicious.
It happened on John Pound Road early Saturday morning. A neighbour called 911 shortly before 1:00 a.m. after they entered the garage and found thick smoke.
According to the Oxford OPP, the firefighters found one person in the front room and they were pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts.
There's no word regarding a damage estimate at this time.
