Police say one of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings is dead and a massive manhunt is underway for another. The two suspects are tied to a shooting at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where a campus officer was killed. Shortly after the MIT officer was killed, police received a report of a carjacking. The two suspects held the driver hostage for a short time in the car but that person was released and is said to be unharmed. A police chase ensued leading to a shootout which ended in the death of suspect #1 from the marathon bombings. Another officer was injured at that time. The second suspect from the marathon bombing is at large and massive manhunt is now underway. The Associated Press have now identified the second suspect, the man with the white hit, as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev 19, of Cambridge, Mass. Police say of the at-large suspect, "We believe this to be a terrorist.'' A new photo of Tsarnaev has been released from a 7-11 in Cambridge, Mass. that was taken Thursday night. Many areas are under complete lockdown this morning as officers and tactical units continue search for the suspect. Authorities have completely shut down all MBTA public transportation as the manhunt continues. A press conference with the medical staff that cared for suspect #1 say the individual suffered multiple gunshot wounds and injuries that would be sustained in some sort of blast.
