Environment Canada has issued a weather statement, as Oxford and Brant Counties are expected to get hit with up to 15 cm of snow.
OXFORD COUNTY - March is roaring in like a lion, as Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Oxford County and Brant County today. Rain will change to snow as winter weather returns later today. The showers are expected to develop today as a strengthening low pressure system approaches the Great Lakes.
Brace for brisk winds pulling in much colder air from the north, prompting the quick change to snow this afternoon or early evening. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible by Friday morning.
Drivers should be aware on the afternoon drive as strong northerly winds may result in areas of blowing snow and very poor visibility tonight.
The worst of the weather should happen over night making tomorrow's early morning commute a messy one.
