Show your pride by decorating your house for the Pride Decoration Celebration contest.
NORWICH - Norwich and Area Justice Equality Diversity and Inclusion Alliance encourages you to decorate your house for Pride Month.
The contest is a great means to spread pride and joy in the community and no decoration is too big or too small.
Member of the JEDI Alliance Amy Luciani talked to us about some rules for the contest.
"We wanted to make sure that we were being mindful and the event was safe. People can decide to decorate another house or if they wanted an alternative option they could decorate inside or their backyard and just submit a photo for judging."
No contest is complete without prizes and there is over $150.00 worth from local businesses like Gunn's Hill Cheese, Two Guys and a Whisk, and more.
Warden of Oxford County and Mayor of Zorra, Marcus Ryan is a special guest judge for the contest.
To register email norwich.jedi.events@gmail.com and the deadline to register is tomorrow. The judging will be happening this Sunday June 25th at 11:00 a.m.
