Oxford County will once again celebrate International Women's Day with the AppreSHEation awards.
WOODSTOCK - Nominations are still being accepted for the 10th annual AppreSHEation awards in Oxford County.
The awards will be handed out on March 8th at the local International Women's Day Celebration inside the Oxford Auditorium. Event Organizer, Phyl McCrum says the event has really grown over the last 10 years.
"One of the largest highlights for myself has been how this event has continued to grow and grow, the first year I think we had 60 women out and they we had over 100 people and now we have over 500 people who come out every year and every year it has grown and that just tells us how important this event is for women in Oxford County."
McCrum says they are hoping to see even more nominees this year.
"We are looking for a lot of nominations to come in this year because we will be posting all of the nominees and there is a lot of excitement around that too, to be recognized."
