Two OPP officers and a Brantford Police officer were treated in hospital after responding to a fire on New Years Day.
BRANT COUNTY - Three police officers have been treated for smoke inhalation in hospital after responding to a residential fire in Brant County.
Brantford Police and OPP were the first to arrive on scene at around 10 a.m. on Sunday January 1st. Three officers rushed into the building on Brant Road near Governors Road East when they believed there may have been residents on the upper level, but they immediately had to exit the building when they were overcome by the smoke.
In the end there were no residents on the upper level; they were all accounted for and they were not injured.
Brant OPP say the fire is not suspicious.
