OXFORD/BRANT - We're starting the New Year off with a rainfall warning in Oxford and Brant.
It was first issued last night and Environment Canada says we could see anywhere between 20 to 40 milimetres by the time it ends later this afternoon.
The ground is also frozen right now, which will affect its ability to absorb the rain. This means we could see some flooding in low-lying areas.
Everyone should stay away from local creeks and river banks, especially pets and small children.
