New storm sewer trunks, some channel improvements work along the CN's and the right of way, and some implementation of storm water ponds. These are all implementations provided to Woodstock City council on Thursday. The implementations were suggested by Nicholas Krygsman who is the Dillion consultant for the Warwick and Norwich flooding study. City Council requested a Environmental Assessment following a storm nicknamed "The 100 year rain". All the implementations combined will cost the city over 2-million dollars. The storm which happened two years ago caused significant flooding in areas of the Friendly City.
