The Woodstock Police are looking for some help naming their newest four legged offi-fur.
WOODSTOCK - Officer Sniffles at your service.
Woodstock Police are asking for the public's help to name their new K-9 police dog.
14 elementary schools in the city have been invited to participate in the name our K-9 contest.
Constable Steve McEwen says they have had some creative names in the past and the officers are excited to see what the students come up with. He adds the dog is currently in training with their handler and should be ready to go by early summer.
Names must be submitted by May 15th and the winner will notified shortly after the contest closes.
A prize will be given to the school with the winning entry.
