The Toronto Maple Leafs announced yesterday that Jake Muzzin is out indefinitely due to a spine injury and his status will be re-evaluated in February.
NHL - It looks like Woodstock's very own Jake Muzzin will not be hitting the ice with the Toronto Maple Leafs anytime soon.
The team announced yesterday that Muzzin is out indefinitely due to a cervical spine injury. He is currently on long-term injured reserved and his status will be re-evaluated in late February.
Muzzin last played defense for the Leafs on October 17th. He had to leave the game in the second period after colliding with Coyotes forward Clayton Keller. The Leafs lost the game 4-2.
