Pre-trail for John Robinson's 1st degree murder case will start Tuesday morning. The pre-trail was set to begin this morning, but was pushed back a day, because the presiding judge is finishing a trial in London today. Justice Thomas Heeney, who is presiding over Michael Rafferty's murder trial, filled in this morning to issue the postponement. Robinson is on trial for the 1st degree murder of 26-year-old Clifford Fair. The drifter's remains were found by Woodstock Police in 2008, buried in the backyard of the Princess St. where Robinson lived. Robinson's then-girlfriend, Amy Cassidy-Gilbert pleaded guilty to being an accessory to Fair's murder. She's already served her 31-month sentence. Jury selection in the case should go next week with the trial taking place in early May.
