WPS reporting a number of collisions in the city through the weekend.
Woodstock Police were kept busy responding to a number of collisions over the weekend.
Saturday afternoon around 12:45 pm, emergency crews attended the scene of a two vehicle crash at Dundas and Springbank Avenue. Minor injuries were reported and the damages were estimated at $3500. A 33 year-old female was charged with following too close.
Shortly after, at about 2:40 pm, police were called to the scene of a three vehicle crash at Oxford Road 4 and Dundas. Again, only minor injuries were reported and a 25 year-old female was charged with failing to stop for a red light.
And Sunday around 6:55 pm police received a report of a vehicle striking a parked car on Metcalfe Street and then fleeing the scene. Police were able to locate the vehicle and driver a short time later. A 25 year-old male is now facing a number of charges including failing to remain, driving while under suspension, driving motor vehicle without insurance, and starting from parked position not in safety. The driver will answer to these charges in Woodstock court at a later date.
