A Thamesford man is facing a half dozen charges after being pulled over in Thames Centre.
THAMES CENTRE - A Thamesford man is facing charges in Thames Centre.
On Saturday, Middlesex OPP got a notification from the Automatic Licence Plate Recognition system while on Dundas Street. A traffic stop was conducted, and the driver was arrested and taken to the Middlesex detachment.
As a result, the 28-year-old is facing charges under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, Liquor Licence Control Act and Cannabis Control Act. They include operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, driving a motor vehicle with no licence, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, driving a motor vehicle with an open container of liquor, and driving a vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 22nd.
