A mobile library service will be making more stops in different areas of Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - Ox on the Run will make regular stops in more areas of Oxford County.
The program will run on a bi-weekly basis until December 20th, with stops in Beachville, Drumbo, Springford, Kintore, and Hickson. It was launched as a seasonal summer outreach program in 2019 and aims to connect residents with library materials and resources in local community spaces. In 2023, the summer outreach program was expanded to a year-round pilot project with a new mobile library unit thanks to a decommissioned ambulance from Oxford County Paramedic Services and the addition of two outreach staff members.
Ox on the Run is a program that serves all ages.
