Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie would like to renew, rebuild and re-energize the Ontario Liberal Party as its next leader.
MISSISSAUGA - The Mayor of Mississauga would like to become the next leader of the Ontario Liberal Party.
Bonnie Crombie served as a Liberal MP for the Mississauga-Streetsville riding from 2008 to 2011, before becoming the Mayor in 2014.
She announced her plans to run for the Liberal leadership last night, saying she wants to renew, rebuild and re-energize the party.
Crombie is running against Beaches-East York MP Nate Erskine-Smith, Ottawa Centre MP Yasir Naqvi, and Ted Hsu who served as the MP for Kingston and the Islands from 2011 to 2015.
The Liberal leadership vote will be taking place with ranked ballots in November this year and the results will be revealed on December 2nd.
