DRUMBO - Police are investigating after a string of thefts in Drumbo.
OPP say the first theft happened on Mechanic Street on Wednesday when a 2006 red Cadillac Escalade was taken from a home overnight. The Escalade has tinted windows and rims painted in red on the interior.
There were also several vehicle entries overnight on Mechanic, Jarvis and Wilmot Streets in Drumbo during the same time frame. A number of valuable items were taken including an IPod, sunglasses, small hand tools, clothing, a gold necklace, a wallet and loose change.
Police are providing the following tips to make sure you are not a victim:

- Remove valuables from your vehicle. If you can't, then keep them from plain view.
- Park in well lighted areas with high traffic.
- Clean out your garage and park your vehicle in it - locking your vehicle and the garage door.
