A portion of the proceeds from all items sold at McDonald's will support Ronald McDonald House Charities.
OXFORD COUNTY - If you're thinking about hitting up a drive thru on your way to work this morning, during your lunch break, or on your way home today, now is the day to do it!
It's McHappy Day, so McDonald's Canada will be donating a portion of the proceeds from all items sold to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). This includes the items sold in restaurants, in the drive-thru lanes, through McDelivery and through third party delivery apps like SkipTheDishes, DoorDash and Uber Eats.
The restaurants in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg will be raising funds for RMHC Southwestern Ontario. It supports the Ronald McDonald House in Windsor, the Ronald McDonald House in London, and the Ronald McDonald Family Room in London.
A Ronald McDonald House provides families with a place to stay close by whenever they have a child admitted into the hospital. They also receive food, mental health and wellness support during their stay.
McDonald's says RMHC has touched people across the country, with one in four Canadians being supported by it or knowing someone who has.
