A man who fled from police back on July 25, 2012 was found and arrested in Edmonton, Alberta. It was in relation to the stolen vehicle that was involved in a collision at Trillium and Budd Line, west of the village of Sweaburg. Charged is 35 year old Michael Heaton, of Zorra Township with multiple Criminal Code offences: - Possession of Property Obtained by Crime - Theft Under $5,000 - Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle - Flight from Police - Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident He is also charged with the following Highway Traffic Act offences: - Drive While Under Suspension - Fail to Stop for Police Heaton was arrested in the western province August 13, 2012 and transported back to Oxford County.
