The Woodstock Public Library and the Oxford County Library branches in Tillsonburg and Ingersoll will reopen today with COVID-19 protocols in effect.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Library is happy to reopen to the public today, Monday July 5th.
Patrons will once again be invited into the building to browse, borrow and go.
Under Step 2 guidelines, only 30 people will be allowed in the building at one time. Face coverings and social distancing protocols will remain in place. Returned items will only be accepted via the book return. The Library will continue to quarantine returned library materials for 3 days.
Library CEO David Harvie says curbside pickups can also be made during normal library hours by appointment only.
"As a courtesy to others, we ask patrons to limit the length of their visits. We strongly recommend that patrons use our online catalogue to reserve items and schedule their visit once they have received notification for quick and efficient service."
The Library will also make available to patrons its photocopier, microfilm reader and a limited number of public internet computers. Public seating and study space will not be available due to capacity limits.
Meanwhile the Oxford Library branches in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg will also open to the public today for in-person browsing.
