The President and CEO of the Woodstock Hospital is stepping down after 25 years.
WOODSTOCK - The President and CEO of the Woodstock Hospital has announced her plans for retirement.
Natasa Veljovic will step down at the end of the year.
She is leaving behind quite the legacy.
"We have achieved some incredible milestones and I don't think I even envisioned where we would be now when I started 25 years ago."
Veljovic helped improve technology at the hospital; including the new CT scanner in 2003, their first nuclear medicine program, their first bone density machine and a digital diagnostic imaging program.
She was also a driving force behind the big move to their new Juliana Drive facility in 2011.
Veljovic says it's been a great two and a half decades, but she is looking forward to her retirement years.
"I look forward to spending more time with my family, more vacation times, reading and just having time. I don't have anything in particular at the moment but I am sure plans will be forming quite quickly."
Veljovic will pass the reigns over to Perry Lang at the end of the year.
