A reminder that Ontario Nature has closed all of their Nature Reserve trails because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
SOUTH WEST OXFORD - Ontario Nature has closed all of their Nature Reserve trails because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This includes the Lawson Tract located in South West Oxford. The decision was made based on public health recommendations to protect the health safety of everyone. Here is the statement from Ontario trails posted on the Lawson Tract:
"In light of the worsening situation around the coronavirus outbreak and government orders to close public spaces we have had to make the difficult decision to close all Ontario Nature Reserves to the public.
It is not safe to permit use of our trails to the risk of spreading COVID-19 virus.
We are also not able to do any trail maintenance at this time, which further poses a risk to the public.
If you have questions, please call 1-800-440-2366 or email info@ontarionature.org.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time."
