10 members are needed from across Oxford County to achieve the long-term goal of zero waste.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County is inviting residents and business owners to join Zero Waste Oxford.
The advisory group is designed to promote waste reduction initiatives outlined in the 2023-2024 strategic plan. The goal is to provide feedback and ideas to staff on waste management and diversion programs.
10 members are needed and will meet virtually on the third Wednesday of every month. This will help build community partnerships while promoting action so the county can achieve its goal of zero waste.
One of the key pillars is enhancing environmental sustainability to promote a circular economy.
