There were long line-ups today for beef on a bun, but it may have been more about the worthy cause. The 3rd annual Canada Post BBQ for Jacob's Story was held today, and according to Canada Post employee, Steve Gilbert, it's been the most successful yet. "It's been the biggest one to date. We started this a couple of years ago to raise money for Jacob's Story. We did it for the first two years, this year we've added Gabriel's Goal. It's just something we enjoy to do as a post office, and to bring the community together." The event is in memory of Jacob Hagen-Johnson, a Woodstock boy who died of Lukemia in August of 2010. His family continues to host fundraising events in his honour to help other sick children and their families. You can learn more about it here.
