We will have a risk of frostbite starting on Friday evening and continuing all day Saturday.
A deep freeze is set to take over most of southwestern Ontario this weekend including Oxford County.
Temperatures will dip to minus 7 this afternoon with a wind chill near minus 17. Then on Friday night the temperature will dip to minus 18 with wind chills of minus 17 in the evening and minus 28 overnight. This means there will be a risk of frostbite if you have exposed skin outdoors.
Saturday will provide us with some sunshine but it is going to be cold. Saturday will have a high of minus 14 with a wind chill of minus 28 in the morning and minus 20 in the afternoon. This will mean a risk of frostbite all day. Saturday night is when temperatures will start to level off with a low of minus 17.
Sunday looks like a gorgeous day, with a mix of sun and cloud and high of minus 5.
