OXFORD COUNTY - Some are mothers, some are daughters, some are sisters, and some are friends.
Today is International Women's Day which celebrates women around the world, all while shining a light on the women's rights movement. The theme this year is #InspireInclusion which encourages everyone to imagine a world without bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.
Woodstock Mayor Jerry Acchione will be joined by members of the Zonta Club of Woodstock this morning when he makes the official International Women's Day proclamation at Museum Square this morning. That should get started at 9:00 a.m.
