A public consultation will be taking place at the Norwich Community Centre on Tuesday September 30th.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - The Township of Norwich wants to know about parking needs.
Residents are invited to a Downtown Parking Study consultation, which will be held on Tuesday, September 30th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.. It will be at the Norwich Community Centre, and there will be a brief presentation at 6:00 p.m. to introduce the study, process and timeline, and share preliminary results from the data collection.
The purpose of the Parking Study is to undertake a comprehensive review of the Township’s current parking inventory in downtown Norwich, identify parking trends, and develop a plan to ensure that inventory is managed appropriately to meet stakeholder needs. The study will assess the nature and extent of parking needs in the downtown area for on-street locations and public and private lots and identify actions to improve conditions.
Those who are not able to attend the consultation can provide their feedback and thoughts through an online survey here. You can also visit the Township of Norwich website to stay up to date on the study.
