Police have identified the drowning victim from Thursday as a 27 year old man from Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - A 27 year old man from Ingersoll has died after a tragic scene at Pinery Provincial Beach.
Police say James Boniface was trying to swim back with friends to the beach from a sand bar in Lake Huron on Thursday afternoon. He didn't make it out of the water and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Boniface was pulled from the lake and CPR was given to no avail on Thursday afternoon.
