The library has the cure for those who are finding the summer boring
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Library has got you covered if you hear the phrase I'm bored at any point this summer.
They offer a number of events all summer long to keep the kids busy. Program Services Coordinator with the library Gail Kavelman explains how they are able to offer all of their programs for free. " A number of comunity people, local businesse owners over the past 25 years have been donating regularly to our children's programming lineup which allows us to offer all of the programs free of charge."
Kavelman says every Monday they have the Summer Reading Club for youngsters between the ages of 4 and 6 and on Tuesday they offer the same program to the older kids between the ages of 7-12. They are also bringing in the Mad Science Funshops several times this summer as well where kids will get to do some hands on interactive science experiments and have fun while learning something new at the same time. She also encourages kids to check Designing with Danielle where kids will learn to make tissue paper swirl picture frames later this month. For a complete list of all the events this summer check out their web site at http://www.ocl.net/Branches-hours/Ingersoll.
