A Guelph woman got directions she wasn't looking for. Around 6:30 pm last night, the woman pulled up to an Oxford OPP cruiser patrolling the area of Thames and Clarke Streets in Ingersoll to ask for directions. While speaking to the woman, the officer could detect the odour of alcohol on her breath. Turns out she didn't need the directions as the officer took her back to the attachment instead where she allegedly failed the Intoxilyzer tests. 59 year-old Karen Finlay is facing impaired driving charges and will appear in court at a later date.
