OXFORD COUNTY - Hydro One customers might notice some changes on their next bills.
Representatives from the hydro company met with the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce on Monday, in order to discuss the new format they will be introducing in December.
Vice President of Corporate Affairs Natalie Poole-Moffat says the new invoices will have a simplistic approach.
"Our statement has been designed with our customers in mind. Our new statement is grounded in research and tested by thousands of our customers and they think it's a must easier read."
Poole-Moffat says the bills will highlight the five most important pieces of information each customer looks for.
"They want to know; what do I owe, when it is due, how much did I use, how does it compare to my last statement and how can I contact Hydro One. All of those things are now on the front of our bill and the first things that you are able to see at a glance."
Hydro One will start sending out the new statements on December 1st, so every customer can expect receive one in the six weeks following. Each envelope will also come with an insert outlining the changes that have been made.
