The WPS Holiday R.I.D.E. campaign kicks off today and ends on January 1st, 2025.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service has launched its Holiday R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) campaign.
Officers will be out and about this holiday season, cracking down on impaired drivers in our community. Police say driving while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or a combination of both is the leading cause of serious crashes in Canada.
If you're planning on going to any parties this holiday season make sure you have a safe ride home. It could be a designated driver, a City bus, a taxi/ride share, or you could just spend the night if you're at a friend's house.
The Woodstock Police Service's Holiday R.I.D.E. Campaign officially kicks off today and it lasts until January 1st, 2025.
