Police are searching for the driver of a Grey/Silver Kia Optima after a Hit and Run in Stratford on Tuesday afternoon.
STRATFORD - Stratford Police are investigating a Hit and Run near the Rail crossing on O'Loane Avenue.
The crash happened on Tuesday afternoon when a Grey/Silver Kia Optima was dangerously passing vehicles and clipped an older model Oldsmobile. The two vehicles narrowly missed a head on collision. The impact from the crash forced the Kia into the snow, straddling the sidewalk on the east side of O'Loane Ave. The Kia occupants and a passerby helped get the vehicle unstuck from the snow and then the driver and passengers took off before police could arrive.
Police are asking the publics assistance in locating anyone with information or who witnessed this accident. Anyone with information on this Hit and Run is asked to contact Constable Otten at 519-271-4147 ext 178.
