A GoFundMe page is looking to raise $30,000 for the family of the woman who was hit by a vehicle in Woodstock last week. She passed away on Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - The Filipino-Canadian Association of Oxford County has started a GoFundMe page following the tragic loss of one of their own.
Ailene Salise passed away in a London hospital on Saturday December 30th 2023 at the age of 36, leaving behind her husband Daryll and two-year-old son Dane. The family just moved to Canada from the Philippines in August.
The GoFundMe page says Ailene was the woman who was hit by a vehicle on Juliana Drive in Woodstock last Wednesday.
It's looking to raise $30,000 to help her family, and over $5,700 had been raised as of 9:30 a.m. today.
