Gems and Java was a sold-out event on Saturday April 22nd and it raised over $62,000 for Mothers with a Heart for Ethiopia.
WOODSTOCK - Mothers with a Heart for Ethiopia is happy to announce another successful Gems and Java fundraiser.
It took over the South Gate Centre on Saturday April 22nd. Founder Shelley Green says the night was completely sold out, generating a ton of donations for their seven humanitarian projects overseas.
“We raised $62,200. We are thrilled! We’ve been able to attract eight new sponsors for our Tesfa shelter.”
The eight new sponsors will help sponsor eight children at the shelter who are in need. You can read more about Mothers with a Heart for Ethiopia's projects online here.
Green also sends a huge thank you to the community for helping them reach their goal.
