Four people were arrested after a man was attacked with weapons, restrained and then pushed from a moving vehicle on Friday.
STRATFORD - Four people have been arrested in a gang style assault in the City of Stratford.
Officers were called to a home on Douro street on Friday evening around 6. The survivor of the assault was taken to the hospital by EMS. He was attacked by a group of four people and beaten with various weapons in the East end of the City. The victim was restrained and dropped off in another area of the City where he was pushed from the vehicle. As a result of the attack, the survivor suffered non-life threatening injuries and was later released from hospital after treatment.
A search warrant was later conducted at the residence where the incident occurred, which resulted in the seizure of the weapons believed to be used in the attack.
The four individuals involved were identified as a 16-year-old youth, a 17-year-old youth, a 21-year-old male, and a 40-year-old female; all of whom are residents of Stratford.
All accused parties were located, arrested, and transported to Stratford Police Headquarters where they were charged with Assault with a Weapon and Forcible Confinement.
