Don't expect any free rapid tests coming to Oxford County as all of the holiday pop ups are in the GTA.
Oxford County will not have any of the free rapid test holiday pop ups over the holidays.
The Ford Government released the locations for the free tests yesterday. You can find them online here.
All of the locations are in the GTA, with one in Peterborough and one in Kingston. Select LCBO's will also be offering the free tests, however it's not immediately clear if any of those are happening in our area.
On Friday, every student in the Province at publicly funded schools will be provided with 5 free rapid tests. If your child is not able to attend school over the next two days, you can contact your school and arrange for a pickup.
Zorra Township Mayor Marcus Ryan is not impressed, saying this is proof that politicians don't care about rural Ontario.
This is UNACCEPTABLE @erniehardeman

Oxford residents are just as susceptible to #COVID as #Toronto
How can @SWPHSchoolTeam residents be both in extra controls AND not qualify for Rapid Antigen Tests?! https://t.co/70yCis536g
