Fraser 'more to give to the community'
WOODSTOCK- Former police chief Ron Fraser has filed papers for another chance on council. The longtime resident of Woodstock was born in nearby Embro and has spent over 39 years in the city, during his formative and working years.
Fraser is a current city councillor with Woodstock and hopes to continue on council. "I love this community, I love the way it is growing and maintains it's heritage of being a small community with friendly people."
Fraser said,"I still felt I had more to give the community that I love, and so I ran for muncipal council and I was elected in the last term."
"I've really enjoyed it and I think this council has done amazing things, there have been some unpopular decisions but it's been progressive and I would just like an opportunity to serve the community and its citizens a little bit longer, if they'll have me."
October 27th the election will get underway.
