WPS and Oxford OPP charged 4 people with impaired driving this weekend, including a 26 year old man in Woodstock who collided with a building.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford OPP and Woodstock Police busted four impaired drivers this weekend.
Woodstock Police responded to a crash in the area of Dundas and Wilson on Friday afternoon around 4. A lone vehicle collided with a building. Police found the driver to be in possession with suspected fentanyl. The 26 year old man from Woodstock was charged with possession and impaired driving by drugs and alcohol.
Meanwhile the first driver busted by Oxford OPP was a 24 year old from Woodstock who was initially pulled over for speeding on the 401 after midnight on Saturday.
A couple of hours later a 30 year old from Brantford was stopped on Wellington Street in Ingersoll. They were also charged with resisting arrest and possession of unmarked cigarettes.
Then on Saturday afternoon around 1:30, police stopped a 41 year old Brantford on Highway 401 in SWOX.
All three had their license suspended and vehicles towed from the scene.
