The UTRCA has issued a flood outlook for the region, meanwhile the GRCA has issued a flood watch for New Hamburg and Ayr.

Major flooding is not anticipated at this time, however things can change quickly if we get more rain today than we our anticipating. Water ways in the region are moving very fast right now after yesterday's thaw and our very dangerous. Residents are reminded to use extreme caution near all watercourses, and parents are reminded to keep children and pets away from water.
Meanwhile the Grand River Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch for places like Ayr and New Hamburg. Flooding in low lying areas in those locations could happen over the next 24 hours.
