One person is facing several firearms related charges after police were called out to an assault.
BRANT - Police say a verbal altercation turned into a physical confrontation, resulting a firearm being displayed at a Fourth Concession Road address.
Officers arrived on scene Sunday around 8:36 p.m. and took a person into custody without incident.
Police have charged 55 year old Gregory John Toth of Brantford with the following offences:
- Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose,
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order,
- Pointing a firearm, and
- Assault with a weapon.
The accused is scheduled to appear in a Brantford court at a later date.
